Freedom.

Jasmine was right. When she got home her mother was PISSED. She had known someone else had taken her phone to text her and it did not bode well. Which, of course, led to a week of being grounded. Fuck. Her phone had been confiscated but at least she still had her laptop. Jasmine pulled open her blog and let out a slow sigh. In the blog she wrote about her fantasy world. In this world she was a queen, a noble ruler who took care of her people by traveling the realm under cover.
It was with this that Jasmine began to relax. Of course she could not forget about random boys showing up in her home, abducting her and then texting her mother all while claiming they want to marry her and hiding some secret about another boy in the picture. Jasmine's fingers paused over the keys of her keyboard. She had been typing out a scene where her and her valiant knight were saving a female from a band of thugs but.... she could not focus. Who was the other guy? What was all this... and why did she keep having that dream.
Jasmine let out a sigh. She needed to clear her head. "Unhand her fiend!" Jasmine yelled to the thugs. One charged her and caused her to jump back. The man was like a mountain, six feet four at least if not taller and he held a sword that was almost as long as she was tall. Yet she did not cower. With her small rapier She squared off against him. Despite his scary weapon and size he proved no match for her and she quickly dispatched him.
In the time it took Jasmine to dispatch one Erik had dispatched the other four. The women, still tied up, sat against the tree in tears. She had not noticed the rescue that Jasmine and Erik had just performed. Poor girl. With a sheathing of her Rapier Jasmine quickly walked over to her and began to undo the bindings.
It was then that the girl threw herself into Jasmine's arms, indiscriminately the girl cried against her about the woes of her life...
Jasmine smiled as the scene played out. She was heroic and brave in her world. This was very different from the real world where she hid in the back of class and used hate and anger to make everyone avoid her. Her fingers were drumming furiously on the keyboard for about three hours. She cranked out an entire new chapter before she felt content with her work. At that point Jasmine put the laptop away and laid back in bed. It was nice. Her room was a soft grey color with purple accents. Her bedding was a mix of grey black and purple and her floor was wood with a soft purple carpet. On her walls were pictures of Japanese Rock groups she spent a lot of time looking at and listening too.
Jasmine could not help but wonder for the millionth time what it would be like if she could just.... run away. To escape the world and get away from this... boring life. She could almost convince herself the last forty eight hours were complete bull shit and that she had imagined it all. It was easier when she tried to lump it together with the idea that she had seen brownies and spoke to them as a kid. Easier to lump the fairy tales together in her head and assume they were not real... to pretend.
Thunk...
Jasmine shot up as something hit her window. A glance at her clock and she realized she had lost herself in thought till the point where the sun had gone down and it was now 11 pm. Jesus... how could one zone out so much? Yet she had....
Jasmine had a tendency to do that, to completely lose herself in thought. She would be one place for a while... then gone. Completely out of it. Her chest rose and fell with the sudden rush she felt from being pulled from her own thoughts. Her gaze going around her room as if searching for the boogie man.... No. No one was in her room, why would anyone be in her room....
Yet she was jumpy. Of course she was jumpy...
THUMP. Another thing hit the window and this time she visibly jumped. Her bed was next to the window and in her leap she fell out of it. She winced as pain shot through her elbow causing her to grip it. Shit.
Carefully and slowly she crept back onto her bed and peered through her window. She kept telling herself she was fine, she was on the second floor of her house, no one could get to her, it was fine. Yet it was 11 o'clock at night... who was throwing things at her window...
Her heart was in her throat as she looked down bellow at the grass of her front lawn. At first she saw nothing, then she noted it. Right near the tree in the yard there were four shadows. She felt as if her head was going to explode and her heart die at the same time. They were in her yard... they knew where she lived. She ducked bellow the window again and let out a low whimper. This was getting FREAKY. How could they be here.... Jasmine wanted to die.
This was terrifying. She could not figure out what was going on... that was probably the worst part. Things were happening so fast she doubted she had even fully wrapped her head around this. Worse yet, she could not even do the whole dramatic 'nope not me,' denial thing. If she were able to do that maybe this would all be easier.
Jasmine wanted to cry... she wanted to scream... she wanted to do neither of those things. It was like she was choking on her feelings and she could not identify them. Her hands were shaking as she grabbed her pillow and clutched it to her chest. She closed her eyes and preyed that they would just leave, assume she was asleep and leave.
THUNK.
Jasmine could not help but jump slightly under the window as another stone hit it. Please go away. Please go away. All she could think was for them to leave. She ignored three more thrown rocks. They were spaced out at about five minutes apart. Just pebbles but the sound was driving her nuts. IT was 25 after when she finally opened the window. Her eyes were watery yet no tears spilled. She did not even know what to do. What did one say at a point like this? IT was terrifying... she had four very attractive, very psychotic stalkers right now....
"Jasmine... come down..." It was Cody's voice that broke the silence in the night air. She could see them all hiding slightly behind the tree. They were stacked up. She could not bring herself to speak so she just shook her head.
"Please..." Skylar this time joined in. They shifted positions. Why would a please work in this situation.
Jasmine took a deep breath before glaring at the four of them. "Leave.... don't ever come back here..." Her words sounded solid but her emotions were a wreck, she was a wreck. She just wanted this to end. She wanted to go back to being the lonely loser in the school, not the girl all the hot guys wanted. This was too freaky, too annoying.
It took a short time but they did, they slowly began conversing among themselves and eventually departed. Jasmine let out a breath of relief , one she did not realize she had been holding. Was life always like this? She closed her window again and silently cried. She was so confused because she did not even know how to feel. This was all too freaky, too real. Shit like this was only supposed to happen in fairy tales, yet here they were.

The tension grows.

Yes, they had all been there. All been at the school for the same two years she had been. Yet she had not once noticed them. This news was a shock to her. After breakfast the boys had helped her to the living room, more escorting her as she did not know her way then helped, and pulled out last years year book to prove their being there. As if to add insult to injury Cody was even their class president, C.J. was the head of the Basketball team, Jason was the head of the Foot ball team, and Skyler lead the school's band. Jesus, she had no idea any of that was possible. All four of the boys were quiet popular. Yet she was still completely freaked out.
Despite how elegant the boys were. Despite how kind and nice they were being to her, they were still stalkers. Eleven years. She had not talked to them since they were five. What worried her more, was the fact that they had taken her to their house, she had no idea where she was, and her mother had been told she went to a friends. She had not bothered to point out to them that she HAD no friends, as it should have been obvious. Yet, they had over looked that fact. Her mother was going to be pissed when she got home. What was worse, she did not want to deal with that but she was also frightened. Sure the boys seemed nice, yet they could still hurt her. IT was clear there was some tension going on.
They did sit with her in the living room as she stared at their photos in the year book, they were all with her, yet all very distant and seemingly glaring at each other. They had not, thank god, raised the issue of the proposal yet, as Jasmine was having a very VERY hard time dealing with all of this.
Then it happened. Her mind went back to something that had been said previously. The boys were busy dissing on each other and harassing one another, except Skylar who worked on keeping the peace, to notice her right away. Jasmine cleared her throat and that was seemingly all it took to get their attention.
"C.J. Mentioned.... that .... you could try... now that he was gone.... who is 'he' and what .... what are you talking about?" Jasmine did not realize how shaky she was. But there was something off. The dreams, things that would not leave her alone, now four boys showing up saying 'he's gone' there was a pit in her stomach.
She watched as all four boys froze at the mention of C.J.'s words. Then in unison all three of the others hit him causing him to yelp and rub at the spots he was hit. An awkward tension built in the air but no one offered to break it. They all seemed unable to make eye contact with Jasmine at that point. Why? What was so wrong. Jasmine held her breath.
Once more she asked. "What... did C.J. Mean when he said he was gone... who is gone? ... " Jasmine wanted to know , no, she needed to know. For the sake of her own sanity she needed to find out what this was all about. The other thought nagging at her mind .... why her? Why were they there, and why for her? Yes, she could see them, but she was just... normal... so why were they there for her.
This would be the point in every Romance movie, drama, or bad sitcom, where the boys would cave and spill all their deep dark hidden secrets, they would explain why she was the one they wanted and it would all become clear. Yet the did not. That did not happen, no one opened their mouth to speak. She was left in the dark to sit and wonder and it made her hands grip her shirt , knuckles going white from the tension with which she grabbed it. There were so many things left unanswered. This was not a dream come true. This was a nightmare. She had been abducted.... could it be she was dreaming? NO. She was not so fool hearted to believe that either. This was real, and it was terrifying. Nothing in her life could be this complex.
She stood abruptly. This caused all four of them to jump to their feet but she was already running towards the door. She could hear them call her name as she ran but she did not care. All she cared about in that instant was leaving. Yet , when she reached the door, Skyler was there to stop her. She stared up at him in horror and saw the grief that entered his eyes. She didn't care. Fear gripped her and caused her to take a step away from her.
"Get away from me... all of you... get away." She spun on the rest of the group. Fear was evident in her. There was too much, too fast. It was terrifying. She was threatened to faint again but held off. She needed to stay awake. Needed to keep it together. Her breath was coming in ragged gasps... she was hyper ventilating. As if that were the queue, Skylar moved away from the door. She jerked it open and ran out. She did not pause or turn around as she bolted down the street.

Kitchen scene continued.

CJ was the first to break the awkward tension in the air. He lowered the spatula and turned back to Jasmine, a smile once more on his face.
"If I slept all day, those three would have gotten to you first. And I don't always sleep during the day, I'm just..."
"...Weak as holy hell under the sunlight." Cody seemed smug as he cut C.J. Off. "Go sit down Jasmine. Have some food. I'm going to go clean my shirt." With that Cody walked off, leaving Jasmine in the kitchen alone with C.J.
Jasmine stood there awkwardly for a second as C.J. and herself watched each other. After an awkward and uncomfortable silence C.J. Coughed and went back to cooking. Jasmine walked over to the bar and sat down in a stool that was rather high. She sort of had to climb into it due to her small stature. All the men, so far, toward over her. They were probably all around six foot she noted.
However, she wanted to go home. Had this been karma for Jasmine feeling lonely? Jasmine felt uneasy as she had food placed in front of her. C.J. had piled the plate with pancakes like one would see in a cartoon comic, lots of syrup and butter. There was two slices of bacon to the side.
"I... can't eat all of that." Jasmine admitted dumb founded. Her gaze lifted back up to C.J. and he frowned slightly.
"Really? I was hoping you could... simply so the others would have to eat cerial. Drat." C.J. took the plate for a second and removed a lot of the pancakes, so that there were only three left and then put it back in front of Jasmine. "This better?"
Jasmine nodded and began to eat. Slightly amused by the disappointment C.J. had at the realization he had made breakfast for everyone. Though, she was still confused as to why the boys lived in a house together if they hated each other. As she took a bite of the pancake she was delighted to find that it actually tasted really good. Her thoughts on the serious topic evaporated as she quickly ate the rest of the food and sat back happy. Her face was glowing with delight. If there was one thing that made Jasmine happy and easy to deal with, it was food.
"Liked it that much huh?" C.J. was smiling again. He was obviously proud of his efforts and the fact that Jasmine seemed so pleased. He also seemed slightly arrogant about the idea.
Jasmine blushed as she looked away and nodded. She must have looked foolish and childish to be so easily swayed by food. However, at that moment Cody came back. Followed by Jason. He was dressed in grey sweat pants and a white wife beater. Obviously his Pajamas. His feet were bare and his hand was in his hair itching the back of his head as he yawned. Even while tired and groggy he exuded an air of sexual appeal that Jasmine found herself unable to keep from blushing at. As he looked up their eyes met and Jasmine felt an unnatural skip in her heart beat.
Looking away quickly she shook her head. She knew her attraction to him was only due to the fact that he was an incubus but she still couldn't help fall for it. Was it because she knew what he was that she was able to restrain herself and stop herself ? or was that just normal? Jasmine didn't know. She couldn't remember a thing.
"I'm amazed. Dear Jasmine." Everyone called her that it seemed... 'dear jasmine' was that a nick name for her? Jason's voice was rich and dark. Where C.J.'s voice was cold and icy Jason's was warm like summer and dark like the night. The fact that their voices could inspire such imagery in her head made her feel dumb some how.
"A....amazed at what?" Jasmine spoke up, distracting herself from her own stupid girly thoughts.
"I am too actually." Cody piped in.
Skyler chose that moment to walk in the kitchen. His shirt, unlike the others who were decently clothed, was completely missing and displayed a decent eight pack and nice set of muscles. His ivory hair was tousled and unkempt and his smile was relaxed and playful as he walked into the room. He was in sponge bob Pajama pants and the room instantly grew tense as he joined the conversation. The other men obviously saw him as the leader, that much was clear. "Amazed that you didn't notice us at your school honestly. We've been in high school with you the entire time. In fact, we are the idols of the school. You never saw us in the hall or anything? really?" Skyler's voice was sweet and boyish.
Jasmine couldn't help but wonder why the others seemed slightly scared of him? Was he that vicious? "Wait... those uniforms weren't just for show?" Jasmine was obviously seriously oblivious all the guys sort of chuckled.
"No, dear Jasmine, they weren't for show." Skyler answered as he started piling a plate with pancakes. he patted C.J. on the back. "Thanks for breakfast." C.J. nodded as he turned off the stove.
"Oh... I don't... talk to anyone. No... they don't talk to me actually. SO I wouldn't have known. I just go to school for educational purposes I never really socialize." Jasmine's voice dropped to a softer tone as she looked down at her empty plate. Somehow admitting that the student body pretty much shunned her actually hurt. She didn't mind living with it but admitting it some how made it real, and painful.
"Way to be Skyler you made her sad." Cody spoke up as he walked forward to try to do something. He was about to touch her but then stopped and just stood there awkwardly.
(sorry it took so long to update. I was having creative issues. )

the whole experience was surreal and very confusing. Randomly four guys show up in her class room and suddenly she is remembering suppressed memories of her past. To top it off she had a feeling that Jason, the Incubus, and Cody, the Elf, had a history that wasn't to great. Then of course you also have the fact that Jason seemed to be one with a large Ego AND a problem of dealing with other men with out getting jealous and why did all four of them love her? It really was to much. Now she was walking down the hall way of their house with Cody as if they had been friends all their lives. They had never bothered to contact her, just stared at her like creepers from a distance... why?
"I'm afraid I'm not the cook, that would be the rude one you met first. " Cody was smiling as he tried to lighten the mood. "But, then again, Cereal is good right?" Why was he so happy all the time? Again the idea of them having not seen each other since kindergarten but him stalking her creeped into her mind.
"That... that's fine. C.J. Cooks?" Jasmine inquired curiously as she looked at him. The careless vampire never struck her as someone who would much cook, and why should he? he was undead and had no real need to eat, his sustenance was blood wasn't it?
"I suppose that does sound a tad far fetched but i swear to you it is true. C.J. wanted to learn because, while he dines on the wine of life, you actually have to eat food." Cody acted as if that explained everything as he lead her into the kitchen. The place was huge. They had stainless steal appliances, two sinks, one with a disposal and the other big enough to fit a turkey in. The Stove has four burners like every other one, but it had two ovens and they had duel microwaves above it. There were two different sets of knives in carving blocks and each set had their own sharpening stone. The counter tops were white garnet and very pretty.
On closer inspection, well not really closer more like more observant, she noticed standing by one of the flat counter tops was C.J. He had a skillet in front of him and next to that was pancake batter in a giant bowl and a stack of pancakes and bacon on a plate. It smelled really really good.
"Morning Cody. Good Morning dear Jasmine, have you given thought to my proposal?" C.J. turned and smiled, waving the spatula in the air as he did so causing a fleck of pancake batter to hit Cody and ruin his perfect attire. When Jasmine looked she thought she saw hatred visible on his face before it quickly dissipated behind a mask as he wiped off the residue.
"Morning C.J. I see you beat me to breakfast."
"well I was actually about to go to bed but first the lady needed food."
"I see."
"So you do sleep in the day. Then why were you in my class room?" Jasmine piped in curiously as she looked between the two men, hoping to break the tension. They obviously couldn't stand each other. Why was that when they all lived together? Cody had mentioned something about Skyler being the peace keeper among them but why did they need one? Seriously all of it was rather strange to think about.

a new surrounding

The house at least was better looking then his room. It was actually normal for the most part with soft tan walls, hard wood floors and pictures on the walls. It was obvious from looking at the pictures that all four of them lived together in the house. In one photo it showed Jason chasing Cody, wonder what that was about? In another it showed all four of them together smiling, well almost all of them smiling Cody seemed to be eyeing Jason as if he were a mouse and Jason a lion. Seems there was something between the two, she wondered if it was okay to ask them.
"Jason always picks on me. He has ever since we were little don't you remember? everyone always liked me more then him and it bugged him so he's always picked on me, you use to tell him to be nice to me." She jumped slightly in surprise as she spun around to face the one who was speaking. He really was gorgeous. She had only caught a quick glance of him the last time but this time she got a very good view. Her eyes caught hold of his gorgeous blue eyes first. She had been looking at him in the picture but this was the real thing. His skin was slightly tanned and he looked like a total play boy. He wore a white mans blouse with a tie and a pare of nice black pants and dress shoes. His hair wasn't combed and looked purposefully messy which looked adorable. His head was softly featured and pointed at the chin. His ears ended in soft points and his smile seemed to gleam like the summer sun.
"Cody..." That was stupid... of course it was Cody, C.J. Had explained each of the other three boys well enough for her to remember them slightly, she didn't have to state it as if it just came to her. A soft blush crept up onto her cheeks , she really did have issues but she couldn't stop staring at him. He was lightly muscular and it fit his figure perfectly. She was eyeing him like a air headed teen girl that she really hated.
"Well.. Yes that would be my name Dear Jasmine. You really don't remember us do you? Oh bother... Well never mind that. I'm sorry you ended up in Skyler's room, he insisted it was the only place you wouldn't be violated. I trusted him, only because of the fact that he was in canine form at the time and i doubt he could have done anything if he wanted too, and i didn't trust the other two or myself. Skyler is the responsible one of us all , he kinda keeps us all from killing each other. " He smiled tentatively as he gripped the nape of his neck. Was that like their thing or something? they all seemed to grab their neck when nervous. Jasmine looked down at the ground and shrugged.
"I don't, Sorry. Why am I at your house? My mom has got to be worried sick!" Jasmine realized as she said it that it was true. Instantaneously she reached into her pocket to find her phone, it was missing. Her brows furrowed as she patted down her own persona. She couldn't have lost her phone... god her mother was going to kill her.
"Don't fear. Your mom thinks you are staying at your best friends house, we texted her." With that he pulled her phone out of his pocket and handed it too her. Looking at him she could see a blush on his cheeks, he was obviously embarrassed at having to hand the girl back her own phone. It almost made them all seem like they had kidnapped her.
"we...Well I guess that works then." She took her phone and went back to staring at her own feet.
"Lets go get you some breakfast." With that Cody Gestured her forward and trailed along behind her talking about the photos on the walls.

waking up

Her eyes slowly began to open as she looked around. the room she was in was a deep dark blue , the bed sheets were blue and silver and the ceiling was black. the floor was covered in black carpet. she sat up as she gripped her head. the world spun for a second before it settled again. it was dark with no windows, and rather plane besides the giant bed with a black canopy. the only other furniture in the room was the black door and a wardrobe that was absolutely gorgeous. she rubbed her eyes. though the room was beautiful, dark and creepy, yet beautiful, she had no idea where she was. a soft groan of distress parted her lips. the last thing she remembered was watching two more guys walk forward ... two more guys. That's right she had totally almost forgot about Skyler and Cody. Skyler had silver hair now, just like C.J. His eyes were a dazzling sapphire blue as well but his skin wasn't ivory it was a bit golden and was really pretty. He wore all black except for a blue shirt that complimented his eyes quiet nicely but was over layed by a black jean jacket. Cody on the other hand was like a play boy or something. His hair was golden blonde, his eyes a deep ocean blue. His skin was delicately tanned. he had a soft jaw and smooth skin. he seemed almost to glide rather then walk and he had an air of elegance, from what little she could remember. he wore a white male blouse, button up of course, and black slacks along with a silver watch and a nice pare of dress shoes. he was like a nobleman of high breed or something. She shook away the memories of the two, on top of the other two. and focused on what to do. she obviously had to find her way out of the room but first.. there seemed to be someone laying in the bed next to her. Dear god they didn't... She gently pulled the blankets back to reveal a flop of silver hair. Skyler... WHY THE HELL WAS SHE IN HIS ROOM?! He didn't do anything to her did he? Further investigation of herself and her... anatomy proved he didn't, thank god. Yet she didn't want to wake him up and have him try. she crept out of the bed and made her way to the door only to have the floor creek. she heard him groan and sit up as he looked at her. "sneaking away already? we've barely had a chance to talk you fainted last time you saw me." She looked at the floor and then back at him as she shook her head. "Well pardon me but it's not lady like to be caught in bed with a boy of whom she hadn't seen since KINDERGARTEN!" her voice rose in pitch as she said the last word. she was totally miffed. with that she opened the door and left.

Wednesday, September 4, 2013

"You little weasel! I knew i couldn't trust you for five minutes C.J. " A new voice? A new person?! this person was Beautiful as well, not in the same way as C.J. but more of a summer rose bloom. Her gaze widened as she looked at him. He wore a black leather jacket over a blue wife beater T-shirt. His pants were black skinny jeans and he wore a pare of black high top shoes. A fox tail hung from his pocket chain, it was a deep red. His skin was softly tanned and his jaw was chiseled. she hadn't just compared him to a summer rose because of his beauty, his hair was ruby red as well and stood up all over heck and back on his head as if he had just woke up. He wore a silver ring on one hand with a square ruby in the middle of it but the most eye catching thing about him were his beautiful green eyes. They were like emeralds shining against a sea of red... hair. Her breath caught in her throat while she sat there, if she was correct that was Jason. "You... Grew" That was stupid, why did she say that? God she must look like a total ditz. His head turned as he gave her a gentle smile and helped her to her feet. "Well, Yes. I suppose I would after eleven years my sweet Jasmine. Don't be fooled my devilish good looks aren't the only things drawing you in, I have an sex appeal aura. Please don't let me win you so easily. " He smiled yet again, a bright shiny smile which made her heart flutter in her chest as she bent to kiss her hand. Over her shoulder she could hear C.J. Make a soft scoffing sound. "Stop flirting Jason I already staked my claim so you can just go home." Jason's gaze lifted softly and for a split second she thought she saw hate fill his gaze before it was gone and that charming smile was back. "My dear C.J. the girl never gave you an answer, even I can see that. Since she has already met us it's only fair that she meet the other two. " C.J. looked distressed when Jason said that, apparently that was the effect he was going for because his smile only widened. "Cody! Skyler! Get out here Jasmine missed you as much as she missed us you know!" Two more gorgeous guys stepped into the hall way. Poor Jasmine's heart couldn't take it, she fainted.

Tuesday, September 3, 2013

"Well.. not exactly looking for you. I guess you could say I've been watching you from a distance for eleven years." His hand released hers and he stepped back giving her some room. He had a nervous smile on his face at this point, his hand was gripping the back of his neck nervously as his toe tapped the floor. "Wait. You've been SPYING ON ME FOR ELEVEN YEARS?!" Her voice rose in pitch, this was getting creepier then before. Now not only had some guy she barely remembered looked her up, turns out he had been stalking her. "It wasn't just me! there are three other guys from our class that have been watching you with me! " His eyes widened and he covered his mouth as if to stop himself from saying more. Wait more? there was more? Her head was spinning. four guys had been watching her for eleven years? She had known them in kindergarten! That's a level of obsession she just couldn't fathom. "Four people have been stalking me since kindergarten? " she leaned against the lockers, if she didn't get some support she was going to collapse. "Well... there was Skyler, you know the dark gloomy guy in the corner? his last name was moon? he is a werewolf, irony right? then there is also Cody Simon, He is an elf, he was the popular blond boy if you remember him. Also there is Jason Mathews he is a incubus, those guys are a lot nicer then you would assume. " His explanation really wasn't helping ANY. She just got more and more flustered as she stood there. her legs gave out allowing her to sink to the ground. "Look that's not the point. I had to get to you before them because now we are finally free to get to you since he is gone. You have to become mine, I can't lose to them." Her head shook back and forth for a while before she froze. "Wait... Him? who him? Also, what do you mean can date me NOW what's going on?" His eyes widened "No no no... Forget i said that just marry me and be mine. God i talk to much i really should learn to listen to what i say." He began to pace in the hall. he wasn't going to answer her questions, that was obvious. She was on the verge of panicking and he was worried about saying to much? She had four stalkers, and one of them was a sex demon! Sure most girls always lusted after Legolus the elf or the vampires in a lot of movies like Frost in blade. Even the werewolves are loved but this was far from a dream. This was a bloody nightmare... she had to wake up!

Chapter 3: "Hey what the hell are you and don't you dare say human I'll slap you. I hate liars" They were in the hallway, away from her classroom, in fact they were in the locker hallway. She was surrounded by a rusty blue color and white and the only other thing in the hall way besides her and a couple of trash cans was HIM. Her gaze narrowed. she had put about ten feet between them too leaving him to himself as he paced. He seemed to be like a lion watching its prey as he eyed her, that bugged her more then his unnatural good looks. This guy was the biggest creep in the world, a handsome creep, but a creep none the less. "What if I'm not human? It can't bother you that much Jasmine, you use to talk to brownies didn't you?" His smile broadened as he watched her. Mean while her own smile had long since went on vacation and probably wasn't going to come back. She took yet another step back as she eyed him. "How would you know about that? " Her gaze narrowed more before she shook her head. "No no stick to my first question, what the hell are you?" He didn't seem pleased with such a set of words. His face soured as he darted at her. She didn't even have time to scream before he pinned her to the lockers with a very audible thunk. Fear coursed through her veins as she looked him in the eye, she could finally see what he was. his fangs protruded from his mouth as he leered down at her, pinning one hand above her head as he pressed into her. "You don't remember me Jasmine? Don't remember how all the kids picked on you back then calling you all sorts of names like imagination marry or Insane Jane? All the kids picked on you... except one... little C.J. Thomas, because he could see them too, because he was like them" His gaze narrowed as hers widened. Memories came back, she had been sent to a mental ward when her teachers had found out she was talking to the tree, no one believed her, no one... except that boy. "Bu...But His hair was Was... Black and. And his eyes were, Well brown. Not to mention his name wasn't C.J. It was... Colton... Jamies.. Thomas..." Her breath was sucked in just as fast as he began to smile. she looked up at him with more of amazement then anything. He had always been nice to her, played with her when no one else would and ate lunch with her. "That's it Jasmine, you remember me don't you? You can't say Hair color and eye color don't change, just look at you. It took me eleven years to find you again because your hair and eye colored changed. Didn't you miss me at all?" Here he was, not a figment of her imagination, but an actual person, well vampire, pinning her against the lockers. She wasn't sure if she was scared or thrilled, Scared because he was creepy as hell but thrilled that some one had actually given a damn about her. "You've... been looking for me... for eleven years?" The words sounded and were baffling even to her own ears.

A reply wouldn't be logical to such a obvious joke. Instead her head shook softly and she turned back around to face the teacher. He, too , was staring at the strange occurrence though he seemed more out raged that his students weren't paying attention to the lecture, which some of them desperately needed to, then the fact that one of them had just been purposed to. Granted a girl's biggest dream was to be purposed to by a gorgeous guy who looked like a prince, but this was no prince charming and despite the fairy tail creatures, ti was no fairy tail world. The idea that some creature like him would pull such a stunt on her was beyond crazy. The idea itself was laughable. Jasmine began to jot down the notes that were on the bored, after changing the page in her note book that was. "Pardon me Professor Drummon but i need to borrow your student Jasmine Smith for the day." The teacher didn't even seem to care that some random boy wanted to drag her off. Her head shot up and her mouth opened to protest, hell her heart opened to protest, this was crazy. How could he think he could just snatch her off like she belonged to him? She didn't even really know who he was, okay so he was some guy named C.J. she didn't even know his last name, and from that how the hell did he know her name? Was he some creepy stalker. A jerk pulled her free of her thoughts as she was yanked rather forcefully out of her seat and drug towards the door. She tried to stop him but he was rather strong. Her wrist would be bruised by the end of the day, no doubt about it. What was with this guy? why was he so obsessed with her all of the sudden? She didn't even know him!

"You must be jasmine" His words were like liquid silver, smooth and beautiful. Half of the girls behind her she could hear make soft noises of appreciation. At least she was no better then anyone else, none of them had any idea who he was ether. How ever, there was something off about him. The world she lived in wasn't normal, the fairy tail creatures people believed in did exist, though not as one might predict. Jasmine herself was similar to what one may say a fairy looks like, her face was soft and round with a little pointed chin, she was slightly short at only five feet three inches tall and a slim figure. However, that's not what fairy's looked like. Imagine, if one would, a small demonic creature with skin as frail and colorless as ash. Deep black eyes with no pupils and no white. Little, razor sharp, jagged, needle like teeth and claws. All of this with little, burnt looking wings. A truly scary thought if it weren't for the fact that they are only about three inches tall. It was true, the world Jasmine lived in was filled with fairy tail creatures, but very few people, well as far as she knew only she could see them. It all started when she was little, she saw the first set on her play ground in kindergarten. There were brownies living in the tree on the play ground and Jasmine would go talk to them every day. It hadn't been long before she was made fun of for talking to things others couldn't see. After a while the brownies told the lonely Jasmine that only she could see them and that she had to be careful because she would be judged, it was to late. After that she started getting shunned, by humans, and fairy tail creatures alike. Yet, now, standing before her was yet another one. Though she didn't know his race she knew he wasn't human. Her voice caught in her throat as she stared at him and she simply nodded. "My name is C.J.. I have come to ask for your hand... In marriage." Her mouth fell open at his words. Did he just ask a girl he had just met for her hand in marriage? What in the world was going on?

every day before had been normal, pain was a regular thing because she always had the pain of being alone, but for the past three days the pain had been intensified. She was now not only lonely but stuck in a sulfur void of loneliness that only he could penetrate... but he wasn't there. Her gaze wandered the class room, the preps, the jocks, the nerds, all in their respective groups hating on the others while the teacher babbled about something that happened in the past. She, on the other hand, fit in with none of them. She sat alone in her back corner and watched the progressing of the world as if through a television screen. She was no more then a side line observer. Her head bowed as she looked down to her note book, her hands had been hard at work sketching with out her notice. Or maybe she did notice, but hadn't really cared. Either way the paper now held a small heart that was bound by chains, surrounded by a box and stabbed through with a sword. there were numerous places where the heart was bleeding. Was this what she saw... when she looked at her own heart? Her hand gripped her chest again, not realizing that the class was staring at her. Recognition... the first time. After a while her head turned up to receive the staring. A look of bewilderment went over her face. They had never looked at her before, never cared what she did, she was the creepy girl in the back corner, nothing more. She had always been shunned but now... now they all looked at her as if she were some rare beauty. Fear started coursing through her heart, how was she suppose to deal with something like that? Then it hit her, they weren't staring at her, but a point directly behind her left shoulder. Her gaze turned to see a navy blue uniform , the schools required male uniform, with a red and blue striped tie. Her gaze traveled up to catch the neck of the figure, slightly colored but for the most part it looked like ivory. the jaw was sharply pointed but some how fragile as if it might break. His nose was small and pointed as well, it was cute in an odd way. Her eyes finally got higher to meet his. His eyes were black, black as a ravens wing. Though, if she looked closer, she could see the pupil differed in color then his actual irises. She sucked in a breath as she realized his hair was also as white as the winter snow. In essence, he was beautiful. Not like a blooming rose or a flower of any kind, not of anything warm and beautiful but like an ice crystal or a snow flake might be beautiful. Her heart almost stopped in her chest, he was looking at her. The class was all looking at him, but he, this strange figure, was looking at her. Who was he?

chapter 2: Pain... deep pain. How could something so long ago still cause such a deep troubling feeling in ones heart? How could she still wake up in a panic of sorrow and longing after that dream every time? It was like... like he walked off with her heart any time she closed her eyes. Every time she dozed off she saw the same reoccurring dream, some one she barely remembered but knew she loved, walking away from her. The dream, how ever, was more then a dream. It was a memory. She knew this but it had been years since she had thought about him, why now? Granted he was her first love, but how could you call it love when she was five? That experience was eleven years ago. While little her eyes were a deep brown but after that day it seemed her tears had stained her eyes making them a deep sapphire blue. Her hair had changed from a beautiful blonde to a midnight black. She was almost like a ghost, in fact she may as well have been. The kids in her class always ran scared from her, even though she barely talked and only looked at people they said she was cursed. That pain, how ever, still couldn't compare to the one the memory turned into a dream gave her. As she sat up in her bed her hand reached to her chest to grip her heart, almost to check if it was still there. Her eyes drifted over the dark room to look at her alarm clock, one minute before the alarm was suppose to go off... just like the last three times. Her feet swung out of her bed as she clicked the alarm off. her hair fell into her face to form a shield as she dipped her head into her hands, her elbows resting on her knees. She was tired of having that dream, tired of the dream, and tired of being so... alone. There were lots of people around her , at home, at school, where she volunteered, but no one was NEAR her. No one understood her, or really noticed her. If anything she was invisible to the world. She wasn't bullied but that would probably have been better then this, to be totally ignored by the world was a pain much worse then physical. Though thinking about it, she didn't want just anyone's attention... she wanted his. She wanted him to complete his promise.. he had promised he would be back.. so she would wait, and while waiting, she would get ready for school. With that she stood from her bed and made her way to the bathroom to prepare for the day.

“I’ll be back. I promise I’ll come back, so don’t forget about me, ok?” The words were more than a promise. It was more like a vow, binding them together. It was a chain between the two. No matter how far apart they were the link could never be broken. Her head tilted as she nuzzled into the hand that cupped her cheek. It was warm compared to the biting snow that flew around them. She never wanted to lose that feeling. Yet she would, his hand would go away and to replace it would only be tears. She did not want to lose him. As if by duty her hand pulled her gloves off and let them flutter to the ground. The clasp around her necklace was released as the thing fell into the palm of her hand, a small silver chain with a plane circular locket on the end. She handed it to him and watched as he took it and clutched it to his chest with such affection it made her heart skip a beat. Her strawberry blonde hair blew in the wind while the snow whipped around her in a flurry. It bit into her skin and nipped at her making her want to run into the warmth of her house, or his arms. She clutched her jacket to her closer for warmth. The tears she cried began to freeze on her cheeks causing her to shudder softly. His hand reached out to brush away the tears one last time before he pulled away. The pain in watching him do so could not be described. His foot prints were barely visible against the gloomy night’s darkness as he receded down the street. His cloak and hair whipped out behind him, the only things darker then the night its self. And he was gone, just like that. Swallowed by the night and he had left leaving her feeling like he had walked off with her heart…
